The aquarium is composed of 3 parts, 3 chambers or tanks. A floating boulder appears in an unusual gravitational state in the central tank, suspended as a natural satellite or planet above a dark landscape. The floor is made of mud and unidentifiable waste extracted from the creeks and canals of Brooklyn. Living organisms, from ancient living fossils to genetically modify glofish, inhabit each tank, as a weird stage of evolution. The water level in the 1st and 3rd tank fluctuates and visually circulate between the tanks. This artificial tide changes according to external factors. Some of the glass panel of the tanks can shift from transparent to opaque, revealing, or not what occurs inside. The opacity switches to different panel positions, producing a rhythm that could evoke a measuring instrument, time or else. At either end of the aquariums, a disc of soft light, a stellar glow, radiate the tanks, from the living fossils to the GMO.
